Challenges at work…

Event Management and PR Services had a chance to read Monday Mornings. This is what they had to say about it.

Kala’s new book – “Monday Mornings – A Cup of Laughter” – helps you deal with challenges that you may experience working a “9 to 5″ job. For some of us, a job is a means to an end, but in order to survive – we have to work! Have you thought about some of the things that happen while working a day job? You may encounter gossip and workplace drama from co-workers or you may be the cause of the drama too. Kala’s book is actually therapeutic because it allows you to laugh at your frustrations. Proverbs: 17:22 says, ” A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones (NIV). Reading her book will definitely lift your spirits and your thoughts. Visit her website at

You definitely deserve some therapy and a different way of handling a few things that you may go through.  Be sure to check out the Empowerment Workshop on January 28, 2017. Please see link below.

New Year New Adventures

Well, it looks like we made it to see another year. I can honestly say that I started working on new roads to explore last year. Now I don’t know were the road will take me but I can tell you that it’s going to be quite an adventure.  All I can say is that if your road leads you to a smile and self fulfillment then you’re going to have a wonderful adventure. If your adventure leads you to doubt and a frown on your face, start over.  That’s the wonderful thing about life, is that you can start over and over until you get it right.  But first things first, you have to believe in yourself. That’s something that I learned, to believe in me.  It doesn’t matter how many times you fall, just get up and dust yourself off and start over.  If you put it out in the universe, then it can be done.

I do believe that with new adventures it will bring new ideas. New ideas will bring new goals and may bring a a sense of accomplishment. The sense of accomplishment helps to make anyone believe what they can do if they put their mind to it. At least that is how I feel. It doesn’t have to be a huge goal but make it something that you want to achieve.  I don’t care if you want to paint your house, lose 5 pounds, smile more or even buy a plant and grow it.  If it’s something you want to achieve, then just set it and move forward. I look forward to continuously step outside of my comfort zone to explore new roads. I look forward to meeting people who are trying to explore new roads and I’m sure we will cross paths.  I look forward to the 4 L’s: Living, Loving, Laughing and Learning.   I look forward to writing my first fictional novel about one of my favorite hobbies which is riding motorcycles. I have no idea where that adventure will lead me, but when our paths cross I will be sure to give you a hug, a smile and even shake your hand.  I hope you enjoy this year because tomorrow is never promised. So when you are blessed to open your eyes to see another day, get ready for your new adventure and travel your road to success. Happy New Year 2017!
